Discovery NotesI collected a new sample of soil at 5:22pm from (33.20994° N, 97.14856° W) in Denton Texas from the lawn right outside Willis Library at the University of North Texas. The temperature was 47°F . I dug I from about 1-2cm below the top soil. The soil was very slightly moist.
Naming NotesI tend to use Vaseline a lot for my lips, and my Vaseline tube happened to be on the table I was working on, so I decided to not think too much and named my phage 'Vaseline'.
