Discovery NotesDiscovered by Diksha Adhikari, Isabelle Phillippe, Leonardo Boccella, and Amy Wang. Soil sample was found in rocky and wet area near a creek bed in Schenley Park. Area was mossy. The temperature that day was sunny and humid. Soil was wet and clumpy with some small rocks and roots in it. It was fairly easy to filter.

Plaque NotesThe overall bacterial lawn was orange-yellow color. There were many small spots of bacterial contamination in the middle of the plate and some off to the side. There are some white streaks in the middle of the plate. There are two small but clear plaque assays which indicate novel phage isolation.
