Discovery NotesSoil sample taken from under a rose bush on the Mesa Community College. Sample isolated at 30 degrees C. Did two full rounds of purification. Sample amplified at room temperature (23 degrees C) for 10 days. (This picture is attached.)
Naming NotesBecause this bacteriophage was discovered in a soil sample from under a rose bush, we wanted to include something rose-bush related. We also wanted to include the initials of the names of all students involved with this sample.
