Discovery NotesThe sample was taken from outside the Chevron Science Center. The soil was moist, freshly watered. There was a few planted shrubs and flowers nearby. Before taking the sample I dug approximately four inches below the ground. The soil sample has been kept at room temperature on my desk for the last 4 days at approximately 71 degrees fahrenheit.
Naming NotesThis phage was named after my mom, Joyce. Just like bacteriophages, my mother is one of a kind and my biggest supporter. Thus I could not have thought of a more perfect name for my one in a trillion phage.
