Discovery NotesI collected my soil sample from the Konza Prairie Biological Station on September 19 2025 at 4:00 pm in the C3SB water shed.the C3SB water shed gets is name from the conditions that are allotted to it by researchers(C=Cattle grazers, 3=burned on 3 year schedule, SB=Spring Burn). It was 81 degrees F and the air humidity was about 50%. The soil was damp but not wet because we got some light rain the day before.
Naming NotesThe name for this phage combines the location where it was found and the last name of my boss who helped me gather background info. Konza+Kuhl.
