Discovery NotesFound in a soil sample from Milbridge, ME. Soil collected from salty dog farm. Soil was collected from the remnants of a compost pile from 2013. The top layer of the compost was removed to expose the wet compost underneath. The sample was taken from this pile which had a dark brown color and an even consistency of fine soil.
Naming NotesPhage named after the movie Gattaca. Plot of movie was about having perfect DNA and thus being listed as "valid".
