Discovery NotesHost-Enrichment using Arthrobacter sulfureus, Arthrobacter sp., A. atrocyaneus, and Arthrobacter globiformis. The soil sample containing the phage was incubated at 30 degrees Celsius for 15 hours with the host bacteria mixture. The mixture was then plated and incubated for 30 degrees Celsius for 48 hours to elicit plaque formation for observation.

Sample description: slightly moist and saturated; at local park (popular with dog walking), shaded area amongst trees and vegetation, isolated near wash draining from mountain next to park
Depth from which sample was taken (in inches or cm): 4 cm
Additional information of interest or note: One notable thing to have occurred after the sample was collected and sealed was the swelling of the bag and buildup of moisture along the sides of the plastic bag.
