Discovery NotesOur location was under a tamarind tree, about 8 meters and 12 centimeters away from the trunk. The day we found it was hot and sunny. The soil itself was dry. More specifically our spot was near decomposing leaves and direct sunlight
Naming NotesThe word "Makai" in Hawaiian means facing the ocean and thats the direction I was facing when I found my soil sample.
