Discovery NotesThe water sample was collected on 09/02/2025 at Panther Hollow Lake in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The ambient temperature was 27.2 degrees Celsius at the time of collection. The weather was sunny and humid (77% humidity) with a slight breeze. I collected the water from the surface/<1 inch deep. The lake had mud surrounding it and moss growing on the surface of the water, but no moss was processed in the sample. The lake also had lily pads in it with a high population of frogs and small fish.
