From enriched soil sample?Yes
Isolation Temperature28°C
GPS Coordinates26.28956 N, 98.13172 W Map
Discovery NotesI took the sample at approximately 7:50 PM
on September 10th, 2023. The sun was low,
and there was a calm breeze. The ground
that the soil was on was hard and looked
rocky. Just a short distance away from
where I retrieved my sample was a large tree with sprawling branches. It was slightly humid outside; the temperature was around 27°C
Naming NotesI got my sample from the Edinburg
Municipal Park, and the park has various
species of ducks that roam freely. The soil I obtained the sample from is in a popular area for the ducks to wander. The ducks are a staple feature of the park, so I wanted to dedicate the phage to them.
