Discovery NotesSoil found near tree in Waterfront Park in Port Richey, slightly moist, full of organic matter (growing grass and decaying or dead grass), bit sandy, needed to dig ~0.5 cm below surface, collected at 87F
Naming NotesFuturistic or modernized rendition of Fortuna (Future + Fortuna), the Roman goddess of luck, fortune, and fate. The sample was in a very small area of moist soil surrounded by lots of sandy soil, but nevertheless tested positive for phage presence.
