Discovery NotesThis bacteriophage was discovered in a clump of soil and grass which was damp from rainfall a day prior to collection. The grass specimen taken was dead as it had been mowed a few days prior to collection.
Naming NotesThe name for this phage, Frank, is in memorial of the passing of a beloved pet dog who passed away in October of 2024. Frank was a blood hound who was always kind and loved to play. So, because of his passing I believed one way to allow him to be forever known was to place him in this archive.
