The sample was taken alongside The Union Club Hotel on North Grant St from soil near mixed grasses and trees. The sample was taken in a 15 mL test tube and was about ¾ full. The temperature was ~21.1 degrees C and was collected around 8am. The soil was damp and compacted, though there was no rain this weekend. The sample was taken about 3 cm from the top of the soil.
