Discovery NotesSoil sample collected on the intramural fields in front of Boyden Gym at UMass Amherst. Located roughly 200 yards from the UMass Central Heating plant, and collected beside a light pole in the middle of the field. The sample was rather muddy and underneath a layer of thick grass, despite the weather being below freezing.
Naming NotesOur team appreciated how other groups did spin-offs of words that started with f, and instead used ph, so we thought of a series of words that fit into this category, and Pheet was our favorite.
