Discovery NotesPhonegingi was discovered in red clay soil taken from the bed of a rabbit pen/chicken coop. The surrounding temperature was 80 degrees Fahrenheit. The phage was discovered 1cm. deep in semi-moist soil. The environment is rural and sees heavy foot traffic. Some debris were present in the soil.
Naming NotesThe name Phonegingi is taken from a character of the same name originating from Dialtown: A Phone Dating Simulator. Phonegingi, a cryptid, acts as the player character whose perspective shapes the game's plot and interactions. The intended name of my phage was Phagingi, a portmanteau between 'phage' and 'Phonegingi,' better aligning with the game's naming rules. However, this had to be changed to conform with phage naming rules.
