Discovery NotesThe soil sample is from near Turner’s Falls in Montague, MA. The soil sample seems to be from a small grassy field bordered by trees, near a foot path.
Naming NotesThe name of our phage comes from the word “Pipette” since it’s an important tool in our lab and it’s very musical to say. We changed it slightly to “PiperLet” to avoid breaking the rule about having Biology related terms for names.
