Discovery NotesA 7 mL soil sample was collected from a raised garden bed in St. Joe's Women's Center's Community garden. The garden bed contained a variety of plants including tomatoes. The sample was taken from the level of 3-7 cm below the surface. The soil was moist and dark.
Naming NotesRaqqa is a beautiful city in Syria. The city was destroyed in the last 10 years, so I chose this name to memorialize this city and its people.
