Naming NotesI wanted a name with a meaning that would fit what a phage is (bacteria killer/destroyer), sounds easy, and is appealing. I found Apep, which is the name of an Egyptian demon of chaos, but I didn't really want to name my phage that since the Egyptian God represents evil, whereas I believe the phage does good in medical terms. Thus, Apeppi was formed. My father and grandma found it adorable and easy for the phage. I agree that it sounds lovely, cute, and is like a catchy nickname.
