Discovery Notes | Alyssa found this sample location on the Bicentennial trail on campus. Its exact GPS coordinates are 38.347.24 degrees north, and 85.82167 degrees west. It was 90 degrees Fahrenheit outside and sunny. The soil was dug from about 2 inches in the ground. It was by a freshly fallen tree. The soil was dry and loose. It contained roots and tiny twigs and was light brown with a sandy texture |
Naming Notes | "DonTron" came from a TV show called Rise: of the TMNT. It is a character named Donnie's nickname in the show, and we thought that it would be a good name for our phage instead of just our initials. |
