Discovery NotesIn collection for the bacteriophage JellyBread, it was collected by the powerplant sidewalk. The sample collected was a dry sample, with a clay-like consistency, and scooped 1-2 inches from the surface.
Naming NotesSince the beginning of the phage lab, we have named every sample, agar plate, and lysate tube with the initials JB, for Jessica and Bella. Since we have discovered this phage together, it would only make sense if we shared equal custody of it. JellyBread contains
both J and B and who doesn’t like
Jelly and Bread?
