Discovery NotesIsolated from very dry, fine soil with a lot of dead organic matter in a grassy area.
Naming NotesKubulix is derived from the Kalinago name of Dominica (Waitukubuli), which means “tall is her body.” The name is both a nod to my home country and the phage’s morphology as a siphovirus.
