Discovery NotesThe phage was initially discovered on a plate exhibiting both large and small clear plaque morphologies. To isolate the desired larger plaques, four rounds of purification were required to separate them from the smaller ones. The resulting large, clear plaques were distinctly more prominent and robust, marking the successful isolation of the phage.
Naming NotesThis phage embodies both the regal persistence and challenge encountered during its isolation.
