Discovery NotesThis phage was isolated from the plant Rudbeckia triloba, collected by Dr. Tia-Lynn Ashman. The plant was washed with PYCa, filtered, and then enriched with host at 30 degrees Celsius. The phage was purified by Alyssa Betsko.
Naming NotesRudbeckia triloba is commonly known as the Black Eyed Susan. Suzy is short for Susan.
