| Discovery Notes | This is the same soil sample used to isolate Arthrobacteriophage Nahla. The sample was collected on a cloudy day at around 1:00 PM. The elevation of the place where the sample was collected is 2,518 m above sea level. The sample was collected at the root of a mature pine. |
| Naming Notes | The original name assigned by the students was "Piccolo" and that was the name used for initial submission for sequencing. However, we were informed that the name had already been assigned to another phage. Therefore, one of the instructors (Dr. Rosas-Acosta) modified the name to "Piccoletto", which in Italian means "short person" |
