Discovery NotesIt was found in a creek between the SPEC sports complex and football practice field at Ouachita Baptist University. The site is a low creek with wet clay and wet sandy dirt. The sample was taken from the side of the creek 2 inches below the surface of the soil. The soil was wet and clumpy.
Naming NotesWe named our phage "Kwekel" after our anatomy professor, Dr. Kwekel.
