| Discovery Notes | This soil sample was collected January 12, 2020. The soil was moist. It was collected at 2:17pm. the weather was sunny but still chilly with a temperature of 64˚C. The address where it was collected was 4504 Norris Valley Dr. Lake Worth Texas. There was little grass and much soil and it was near a sprinkler system as well. |
| Naming Notes | I named my soil sample Tomas because that is my grandfathers name. He was the one who pushed me to pursue higher level education because he could never complete his education. His aspiration for me was to become a doctor. He passed away my junior year of high school. I wanted to name my sample after him because I'm here doing this research because of him. |
