Discovery NotesThe soil sample for my phage was collected on September 24, 2023 at 8:28AM. It was dug from some dirt outside my dorm which appeared sandy and full of leaves. When collected, it was a sunny day with high humidity levels. Lastly, the area where it was found is home to many animals including raccoons, squirrels, and lizards.
Naming NotesJamemuya19 is a combination of my sister's nickname, the first name initial of the lab partner who helped me extract my phage's DNA, and my age when I discovered the phage.
