Discovery NotesWe found this phage in a construction site in Lincoln Park, Albany. It was found on the surface of tire tracks. The sample was difficult to remove as it was solidified and stuck with other dirt that was around. This sample was taken around an inch deep. It was 18.89 degrees Celsius when taken.
Naming NotesPatos is ducks in Portuguese and Spanish which is two of the languages that two of the group members speak. This name is based on the fact that a sample from a duck pond contaminated the the majority of our samples during our research. We chose this name based on this memorable experience in our research.
