Discovery NotesThe sample was collected on the Smith College campus on 9/7/16 between 11:30am-12:00noon. Weather was cloudy with some drizzle. Temperature was 750F. The soil sample collected at the edge of the Lyman Pond near the water under grassy plant material. Approximately 1cm deep. Soil was dark in color and semi-wet and clay-like consistency.
