| Discovery Notes | Host-Enrichment using Arthrobacter sulfureus, Arthrobacter sp., A. atrocyaneus, and Arthrobacter globiformis. The soil sample containing the phage was incubated at 30 degrees Celsius for 15 hours with the host bacteria mixture. The mixture was then plated and incubated for 30 degrees Celsius for 48 hours to elicit plaque formation for observation. Sample type: Moist Sample description: Urban, 50 feet from the closes building, not much foot traffic, borders Centinela Ave., parking lot cement within 20 feet of collection site, moisture in air and grass watered often, tree right above the collection site, area was not sloped Depth from which sample was taken: 10cm Air temperature if sample collected outdoors: 20℉ Additional information of interest or note: Airport park with dog park with dog park within 10 feet of collection point. Plane hangar next to the collection point. Flea market once every two weeks in the parking lot next to the park.
