| Discovery Notes | The soil that contained the phage sample was obtained under a deck where the soil was exposed and moist compared to the soil that produced grass around the deck. There was a worm in the soil collected from a depth of 3 inches. |
| Naming Notes | The name Metamorphoo means transformation in Greek. At first the phage appeared to be temperate, but the second spot test revealed that the phage was lytic and it continued to appear lytic throughout the rest of the tame process. This seems to be a visual transformation. |
