Discovery NotesThe conditions where and when I got my soil were somewhat ideal for soil collection. The soil was next to lake and dock at a natural park. Soil was collected from underneath a dead snail shell. The weather was typically Floridian weather in which it had just rained and was damp outside.
Naming NotesI wanted my phage to have a name with meaning behind it. At first it was going to be the word "difficult" in Latin because of how stubborn it was to make plaques. However, I came across the word Akoni which means "worthy of admiration or praise" which I believe this phage does because of its persistence.
