Discovery Notes | It was found in the garden of an apartment building. It is found in wet soil, full of organic matter, surrounded by plants and flowers. It was collected close to the surface, and the temperature was 90 degrees Fahrenheit. |
Naming Notes | Since we found our phage in the area of Miami, we wanted to make a reference to that as well as showing our school pride by calling it Panther, like FIU's mascot. |
