Discovery NotesCollected 2 cm under a tree in front of a school in slightly damp, and dark soil with some wood chips.

Genomic DNA was sequenced on a ONT Minion, R10.4.1 chemistry. The sequence assembled into one contig of 40,900 bp with 97% query cover, 99.94% identity to Constella (J). The sequence was assembled into a second shorter contig of 30,774 bp with 90% query cover, 99.41% identity to Constella (J). This sequence is incomplete based on the size of other J phages.
Naming NotesThe name takes inspiration from my username in games, Xiao meaning "small" in Chinese, much like me and my phage, while kay is the first part of my name.
