| Discovery Notes | SansAfet was discovered in the middle of a walkway of my classmate's vegetable garden. It had also rained two days before this phage sample was collected. It was also adopted during the semester. SansAfet creates medium-sized, non-turbid plaques. |
| Naming Notes | SansAfet got half its name from the brother of my classmate who went on an adventure with her to discover it. The name SansAfet has a Latin prefix and a German suffix. 'Sans' meaning 'without' and 'Afet' meaning 'disaster' due to the ease it allowed me when conducting protocols. SansAfet appears in small and medium morphologies with broad halos surrounding it. |
