The soil was collected next to the Kinnickinnic river near the bridge on the trail that connects the falcon trail to the rest of campus.
Weather conditions when collected were clear with low humidity, and the temperature was 72°F.
The soil looked loose, dark, and very moist. It was collected at a depth of 25mm
