Discovery NotesPhage was isolated from the river called L'Yvette on a sunny day. It rained the day before.
Naming NotesPhage was found in the park of the Chateau de Mauvieres, that used to belong to the family Cyrano de Bergerac. We wanted to call the phage "Cyrano", after the famous character of the play by Edmond Rostand. Since the name was already taken, we added the initials of our university to call it CyranoPS.
