Discovery NotesI discovered this phage at the top of a hill in a restored prairie in Leseur Nature Preserve in Monmouth, Illinois. I dug my soil sample out from along the roots of White Wild Indigo plants. More specifically, my sample was roughly 5 feet into the prairie, surrounded by the White Wild Indigo plants.
Naming NotesI couldn't decide what to name my phage, so I asked my friend for help. We both love the TV show Grey's Anatomy, and decided to name my phage, Greys, after it.
