From enriched soil sample?Yes
Isolation Temperature30°C
GPS Coordinates43.007771 N, 85.668775 W Map
Discovery NotesThis phage was taken from wet, black soil that was rich with decaying organic matter. The soil sample was taken about ten meters from the edge of the water and 12cm below the surface at Riverside Park.
Naming NotesThis phage is named after the Jabberwock from the poem, "Jabberwocky," by Lewis Carroll. Because of the phage's aggressive nature, it is fitting for it to share its name with a monster. Additionally, the setting of the poem is similar to the location where the phage was discovered.
