Discovery Notes | The soil was collected from the Litchfield towers in Pittsburgh PA on August 20, 2018. The weather outside was cloudy and cool with the temperature being about 82 degrees at the time of collection, 3:37 PM. The soil sample was transported for 5 mins and placed in the cool dark drawer in my desk. The soil was cold and slightly damp. There were small trees and shrubs near the collection site. The area was quite shady due to the towers shadow. |
