Discovery NotesDr. Baliraine obtained the soil sample in Longview, Texas, USA on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 8:15 am. The weather was sunny but foggy, wind speeds were 3 mph, humidity was 100%, the barometric pressure was 29.94"Hg, and visibility was 10 miles. Dr. Baliraine was very generous and allowed Riley and Laney adopt this phage after repeated unsuccessful attempts to isolate a phage from the soil samples they collected.
Naming NotesRiley and Laney both have pet Schnauzers that are near and dear to their hearts. Schnauzers are known for being a stubborn breed. The phage that Riley and Laney isolated was also very stubborn.
