Discovery NotesDuring the continuous process of plaque assays to isolate our phage, there was on and off development of phage. Some plaque assays provided us with phage, some had cross-contamination, which was distinguished by the development of other forms of bacteria. For plaque assays #4 and #5, our 10^-4 lysate plate had developed phage that was best suitable for us to further isolate.
Naming NotesThe Jonas Bothers Band released a new album the day we began our phage hunt.
