Discovery NotesWas found by stream on Western Carolina University's campus. The enrichment sample was a mixture of dirt and sand. The sample was taken from the surface of a riverbank.
Naming NotesMy friend and I were joking about a ring I was wearing that day. He said I was the "Panda Warrior." After continuing the joke, he decided he was going to call me PoRanda. He is in the Phage Hunters program with me, so it seemed fitting that my nickname in lab should be my phage's name.
