Discovery NotesCollected on January 16, 2023 ~2 pm from feedlot where calves normally are. No cattle there when collected. Retrieved from about 2 inches below surface. Dry soil with little moisture, silty/sandy, some alfalfa pieces in sample plus loads of organic material. Sample was frozen and packed down; had to chisel out soil sample.
Naming NotesSo friggin' cold out that I came home and had a bowl of goulash to warm up. Thought that might be a good name.
