Discovery Notes | This Phage was found in the Cullowhee Creek on a rainy day under the bridge near the baseball fields. It was in a shallow part of the river. This sample is a water sample so the procedures to originally harvest it from the sample are a bit different than that of a soil sample. |
Naming Notes | I named this phage after the nickname my Dad calls me. He is the one who inspired me to pursue and be passionate about the sciences. |

Plaque Notes | This phage will plaque relatively small compared to other phages using a different bacterial host. Button also has a halo surrounding it most of the time, which can be noticeably seen on spot tests and spot titers. The phage also presents as having turbidity towards the edges of the plaque and clears up towards the most concentrated middle part. |
