| Discovery Notes | The soil sample was collected from the grass area outside Braierl Recreation Center in the Peterson Event Center. The coordinates for where the soil was collected are 40.4445 N and 79.9615 W. The sample was taken from the edge of where the grass was growing next to a large block of stone. The soil was dry and had roots running through it. It was taken from the top layer of dirt. The soil was collected at 3;30 PM. The temperature was 75ºF and it was in the bag for about a day before being added to phage buffer. |
