Discovery Notes5 mL of loamy soil was extracted from a garden bed at 18 Upwood Street in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The soil was extracted at a depth of 5 cm below the surface.
Naming NotesThe actinobacteriophage in question was named after my younger cousin. He played a very important role in my childhood and has been a role model throughout the entirety of my life. In order to demonstrate my appreciation, I named my phage after him.
