| Discovery Notes | A solid soil sample was collected from the base of a flowered bush in the wooded area by south field. Soil was dark and moist with tiny roots and wood pieces. On a warm morning the top 3-inch layer of soil and other natural matter was dug through with a plastic spoon and the underlying layer of soil was scooped into the plastic bag and sealed.
