Discovery NotesThe phage was found about an inch deep in the soil of a grass backyard in Conway Arkansas. The soil was moist as it rained the day before and the weather was cloudy.
Naming NotesHyzer is a world used to describe angle control of a disc when playing disc golf. Disc golf is outdoors so it made sense to name the phage after something that relates to outdoors. Overall, when it came to naming the phage, relating it to nature was important.
