Discovery Notes | This phage was found in a chicken coop by a garage next to a sidewalk in the Columbia neighborhood of Bellingham. |
Naming Notes | StormChicken I named this phage after my daughter Hunter because she is the one that collected the sample. When the sample of soil was collected I was pregnant and too far along where it was hard for me to bend over. I used her middle name "Storm" for the first part of the phage. Chicken because it was found in a chicken coop and because we love eating chicken. |
